The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
